The dimensions of the new sump will be 48"x36"x24" built by Critical Tanking. I went with using 1/2" Acrylic for the structure, baffles and Euro-Brace. My current setup is the same dimensions but instead 1/2" Acrylic all the way around it has 1/4" baffles and no euro-brace. So after about a year or so my current sump has started to bow which is making me nervous. Excuse the wire mess in the pics, that will get cleaned up with the new setup.

I had some steel braces made to make me feel at ease for now

The current setup above has 3 chambers 1.Incoming water with live rock,2.Skimmer,3.Top off with Filer floss
My original sketch that I sent to Critical Tanking is below

I decided to make it 4 chambers for two reasons , one reason was to add more baffles for extra stability and so I can add a frag tank inside the sump. MY sketch had a built in QT tank in it not plumbed to the system, Ryan from Critical Tanking suggested another option, instead of adding the QT tank he suggested to split the 3rd chamber in half making one side a frag tank and the other side either a Refugium or a holding/acclimation tank this way the sump can still have the same water volume as the old system.... This was his sketch

We also decided to cover 1/2 the first chamber and add a tray underneath for either filter floss or a separate tray to add socks so I have either option to use. The water level is going to be made for 20" this way there is plenty of room for a power outage. Also we are putting a gate valve at the bottom of each chamber this way when its time for water changes all I have to do is turn the valves on each chamber, drain and refill!
Since my stand will have about 10" of room we also decided to build a top off water storage chamber which is going to be 48"x8"x24" appr 35g. So now I can dump the brute can full of RO. A little pic of my water storage I plan on plumbing everything up after the new sump arrives.

SW storage 250g, I fill with NSW and 150g I fill with RO.
Back to the sump, I just received some progression pictures from Critical Tanking, by the looks of it , Should be finished sometime this week so hopefully I can get it put in and installed in the next week or two
