It has been quite some time since I have been on and so much has changed but just to let you know, we are not quitting. It is time to do some remodeling and by this, we have to remove the wall in which our aquarium resides, and will no longer have room for such a big tank. I don't have any pictures yet, but if you would like to take a look at the construction you can go to the RAG, sign on if you are a member, and copy the following in your browser:

http://www.reefaquariumguide.com/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/289

Dimensions are: 72"L x 36"D x 24"H

I have 3 very large fish that I would also like to find a good home for. If you do not have a large aquarium to put them in, you will not get them. They are:

Atlantic Blue Tang - Pacific Blue Tang - White Stripe Maroon Clown

As far as equipment, rock and corals, we really haven't thought about what we want to keep and might just buy all new, but that is yet to be discussed.

Another thing we haven't discussed is price, so I am up to all (reasonable) offers at this point. We will give anyone a good deal, but we don't want to take a bath on it either. You can PM me or send email to pschool1@tampabay.rr.com.

BTW.....It's nice to see that you guys are still around!! :D

are there any scratches or stress marks? also how old is it? what are you aiming for in price range for the tank only i dont want to insult by asking too low.

pm sent. depending on condition i may be interested.
also like above. its kind of hard to have a customer set the price. only you know what you want out of it.

the only recent ref point i have is the 360 that just sold a few days ago on this forum for 500.00

depending on the size of the fish i have a 180 with a few fish in it might be able to take them if the price is right. jlk

I am sure that there are some scratches from cleaning etc., but nothing visible. There are no stress marks at all. The tank is in excellent condition. Cost was $1,300 new because of the depth. It is not very often that you find one that is 3 feet, so we had to have it custom made. Like I said, we don't want to take a bath on it either, so $600 is probably the least we would take. As far as the 360, I don't know anything about that. The size or condition, but I am sure that the depth was not 3 feet, maybe two.

currently i have a 3 inch picasso a 4 inch clown trig. a small dog face a yellow tang and a few damsels . so depending on the size and aggressiveness its possible . but i am pretty poor but i can splurdge if i wanna lol . hope the other half doesent see that
thanks

PM's answered. Hippo is spoken for.

mrferrit I think that my Atlantic may be too big.....you have quite a few fish that get very big and aggressive, but they may be too small to deal with him right now. It's your choice, I just want him to have a good home. $60 is what I am asking.

Still have a beautiful maroon clown that needs a home!!!! Green star polyps, maybe a couple of brittle and serpent stars, who knows. The tank is just so big. That is still for sale too!!!

scubby we are keeping the euro reef......sorry.

pmike25 - Sorry, no lights, just 72" bulbs. They are almost ready to be replaced though.

mrferrit - oceana decided to take the atlantic tang, so I still have the hippo. $40 for him.

Okay, I think that the tank maybe spoken for. I have the Hippo and the Maroon Clown left.

did not manage to get that dang tang out today but i will be back tomorrow better prepared. that sucker is fast!!

as for her hippo and maroon they are really beautiful. well worth it. IMO

We changed out the 20 micron filter bag in the sump so it should clear up really well. What time do you think you will be over?

pmike25 - No problem. Will let you know if we decide to get rid of the lights, but I doubt it.

scubby - We just noticed a couple of skimmers in the garage. Amazing what you find when you look :) What size are you looking for?
