Custom built stand anyone?

I just finished building a stand for my new 90.
I used to really be into woodworking several years ago as a hobby and after seeing what is available at the LFS decided to just build my own.
I am willing to build more of them if there is an interest.
This one I finished in a black lacquer but can finish in whatever color stain you would want.
I used solid oak and 3/4" oak plywood for everything except the interior floor and the top capping piece (the surface that the tank sits on) which are birch plywood for smoothness of grain. No crappy particle board and pine here!
I have several different styles of handle hardware also available. Fish, Seahorse (as shown), Starfish and Conch shell.
Right now I am only going to build 48" x 12" and 48" x 18".

Nice work Ron. I too was very disappointed at the quality/price of tank stands available locally. Nice touch on the door pulls!

I don't need a stand right now in that size, but it looks fantastic!

Let me know when you decide to make other sizes. I've got a 29g Oceanic I've been debating setting up as a seahorse tank and I could use a matching stand for it...preferably something not held together with staples.

Ron, Here's the one I have been working on, it's got natural limestone tile on the base... I'm partway done with the hood, and working on the door now. It was supposed to be a "show-off tank" and still may be... the cost of materials may make most gag, so I won't mention it here.
