Custom electrical help.

Top row is a molded case circuit breaker and there are relays in there and push buttons. If you didn't already know these things I wouldn't try and tackle this project.

The basic questions you are asking show a lack of sufficient electrical understanding to do this project yourself. Not to be rude, but don't try and skirt the electric you'll burn your house down and have your insurance company trying to get out of paying your claim.

Hire a professional electrician.

I'm going to assume they are competent, then the next question is what do you need the switch panel to do? Then you can come up with a bill of materials.

Or, if your in laws are building it they should be able to answer all your question and give 'you' the parts list.

Without having a schematic/wiring diagram it is nearly if not impossible to determine exactly what components would be needed to replicate the electrical panel. For starters it could be a 12V, 48V or 120V system. All I could really tell you is that he is using lights and switches on the door panel and inside the cabinet there are breakers, relays, and fused disconnects on DIN rails.

Why don't you just contact the guy that built the panel in the other thread. Get a wiring diagram and bill of materials from him. Does not seem to hard to do....

Also, a an electrician building it would be the safest thing...
