Custom nano wave box?... 7096, and a Stream2 question

I want to clean my tank up of all the mj mods and nanostreams and just use my two 6201's and a set of nano wave boxes or add two 6105's or 6205's.

Is it possible to get a nano wave box with an extension? Is it also possible to get them with magnets for 1" thick acrylic?

Is it possible to hang the stream2's from eurobracing without creating a vortex and blowing air bubbles? I currently hang 6045's from the eurobracing without any issue, but obviously they don't push 5800 gph like the 6205's either.

Will the 7096 allow you to create a wave with streams? Could it be programmed to have the streams change flow patterns every few hours like run them on pulse @ 60/100 for three hours then change to interval two @ 40/100 for three hours?

Mike, I have ask Roger about the extension for tunze nano wavebox before. He said they will not make the ext for the tunze nano. You have to buy 2 nano wavebox if you need 2 for your tank. The Nano wavebox already have a magnet permanently glue onto the box which will work on 1/2" thick material. You will have to purchase another set of magnet separately to be able to use on your tank....

7096 will function as a wave controller as for the timing i will have to wait for Roger to answer that question.

I ordered one 6205 for now. If I can hang it from the eurobracing without sucking air, I'll be happy. I want to put it in the middle on the front eurobracing blowing towards the back.

I have enough flow in the front 2/3 of the tank, but the back 1/3 has a bunch of dead spots. I don't want anything on the front or sides of the tank that my little ones can grab, plus it looks terrible on a cube. If I put the 6201's on the front everything is perfect and I don't need all the other nanostreams and mj mods as I also have two penductors pushing over 3k gph each, but as I said it looks terrible.

My biggest fear ordering a 6205 is that I'll like it so much that I'll want to dump my 6201's in favor of the 6205's . ;)

You will :D....

Mike, there is a member in large reef tank forum has 4 tunze holder for sale just incase you are looking for some :D

Looking at all the wave box videos caused me to change my mind about the 6205. I had SC change my order to two of the nano wave boxes and two suregrip 100 magnets that I will use to hold them in place. I think this is a better fit for what I need right now.

Thanks again for all your help Steve. I'll probably need your help again setting them up. :D

Mike, are you sure the sure grip 100 is good for 1"? I have seen it before on 1/2" and it nowhere to compare to the 6200 magnet...

I'm using the suregrips for my 6201's without issue. If for some reason it doesn't work I'll have algae free make me some custom ones. I've asked them before and they said they would run around $65.00 IIRC.

I thought you had a 65? When did you get a 120? :D

Got them in today. :D

It took me about 20 minutes to get them unpacked, setup, and making a wave. The suregrips are working great at holding them in place on the 1" back wall. I'm getting a little more then a 1.5" wave. I'm glad I went this route.

You can get more out of it just give it a little time in between adjustment. The nano wavebox need more than 1 min to build up the wave frequency.... Glad you like it

If I go any higher Steve, water will be coming out of the holes drilled in my eurobrace!!!

If I need more of a wave, I'll lower the return pump. I think this is going to be good enough for the time being.
