Custom Ocean View Aquariums

So, a LFS has a custom 135G 36"x36"x 24" tall tank made by Ocean view that I want to buy, and I have never heard of them.

It was custom built for them with a center overflow, and is in pretty good shape, but I just want to know if anyone ever had a custom tank made by them. It looks built well, and I havn't got it home yet to really get a good look at it, but for $500 with a stand, canopy, sump, and return plumbing I don't think I can go wrong.

No starphire or anything...

Opinions?

I picked up a 115G Custom build Ocean View, custom built stand & canopy last year right around this time of the year from a local reefer for $800. It was brand new, never seen water. It was a no brainer compared to the $2k & $3k quotes I was receiving for custom built tanks from other 'well known' companies.

48"x30"x19" Eurobraced

It's not flashy, but it's 1/2" inch regular glass & built like a tank, no pun intended. It's heavy duty! I'm extremely happy with the great deal & purchase. The silicone work is done well, too.

I'd buy another one.

I might run by on Wednesday and ask them to fill it. Good idea.

I am really wanting the tank. This is the exact dimensions I was looking for, so I almost don't care if I need to redo the silicone.

I agree, it's much better than the 1300 I was quoted for a custom Marineland DD
