Custom overflow spec for 29tall??

If one was to have a custom overflow made in a 29 tall (30X12X18), what would be the ideal specs?

What i have seen on "reef ready" 29 tall's is a 4x4 overflow drilled for 1" bulkheads.

So, i guess another way to pose this question is...is there a better set-up for the overflow?

btw-i would like to have enough flow to keep some sps, but don't want so much flow as to blow lps away.

hmmmm, if the reef ready one is 4x4, id think that would be the way to go.
id be interrested to hear a more expert opinion on this also

mine is 3x5 and just barely squeezed a 1 1/4" bulkhead in there. i probably could have gotten away with 3x4.
