Custom Pico Tank...

I have the last one, and the only problem is that since it's not acrylic, just plastic it scratches really really easy, even if you get the magfloat for plastic. also I had problems with the filter, the motor jams and needs to be manually restarted often after about 6 months.

I didn't use the top because of heat issues, and that caused a lot of evap. the lights also weren't good enough for my zoanthids and they started to lose color.

weekly 25% water changes are a must.....don't know if this will be the same for the top 2.

Good Luck!!!

if you look over in the nano forums there are a lot of nice 5.5's, been thinking about doing one myself. I could also put one together for ya if you give me about the size you want.

check out Oceanic bio-cubes & Red Sea Max systems ,,,they have a 14 gal real close to the size you want (bio-cube),,they come with everything you will need ,lights , pumps , skimmers. could be a cool little softie/Zoa Garden and some gobies , i wouldnt mind the 34 gal Red Sea Max cube set up myslef ,,,, Santa will be here soon too, might put one of those on the top of the wish list
