Custom starfire 180 FS (3 sides starfire)

ok, tank back on the market again (since we bought Bigred's old tank down South). We are planning out our new living room and would like to move the tank (stand and canopy) sooner than later. Although we will likely just move it out into the garage if we don't sell it before the furniture arrives and we get far enough along on setting up the new tank.

While cash offers will take precedence, we would be willing to consider accepting PayPal, for those that prefer to put this onto a credit card. We would work out the PayPal fees with the buyer(s).

Wish I had the money to help you out!

It looks like the center divider is only on the facade so I think you could install a full-length sump while the facade is pulled away. Is that true?

Actually the center divider is part of the stand itself. It has been an issue for potential buyers wanting a full sized sump under the tank (in stand). When we bought it we had always intended to use a remote sump, so it was never even a consideration for us. I don't know why the builder made it this way, I am assuming for structural and strength reasons. He is a professional cabinet builder, so I am sure that he had his reasons. :)

LOL. when I first saw the picture I only saw the divider on the facade, I missed the full WALL on the stand. The stand I have for the school was built by a cabinet maker who was a friend of the original owner and has a double wall like that but he routed out an opening. I guess it's just the way cabinet makers build stuff.

Yea, I had thought about asking the builder if an opening between the 2 sections could safely be routed out, for the pueposes of a sump, etc. Thanks for the info :)
