Custom tank builders?

Can anyone point me in the direction of some good custom tank builders? The only company I am familiar with is glass cages... Thanks!

i know a guy who got a glass cages tank and he was happy with it...he did say the drains were loud so he had to make some changes to them

I would do some searching on GC before ordering. It may be for you, it may not. As said other vendors that make quality tanks are miracles, coasttocoast, leemar, AGE.

If acrylic, I used Woody at Precision Custom Aquariums. He's in Georgia above Atlanta.
I'm in Upstate SC, so I actually drove and picked it up.

To the OP, if you are open to acrylic, you will find no one better than James at Envision. He is on the boards as "Acrylics." Of course, he is way over here in Oregon...He ships worldwide though.

This is my first acrylic too, but I am happy with it. I priced him against 4 other acrylic tank makers and he was on the low end. He had a 7 week turn-around time. Major deciding factor was the $150 shipping charge I saved by picking it up.

If you never own a acrylic tank I recommend you look at one before you buy. Then get scratch easily compare to glass. There is a local LFS that have 1" thick acrylic tanks and they look great but the scratches just bothers me.
