Custom tank, pic intense...

Basic tank, back painted black with overflow.

Return pump setup, added a 45 degree elbow after the fact to the left return because it created a whirlpool effect and sucked air.

Agu,

that is very clean! did you build the overflow? That would work in any tank (thinking of a 30 cube someday:cool: ) and keep everything as neat and uncluttered as the all in one cubes. Very nice. Keep the photos coming.

Laurie,

Friend of mine, Bob at Reemania , made the overflow for his minimum price ($35). Can't buy the materials and build it myself at that price :D . Can't guarantee the price but his minimum is cheapest I've found online.

Thanks Agu. I bookmarked the site for future reference.

I love the base and top with the light. Really nice looking. If only I wasn't technically and carpenterally (?) challenged.:D

That is too funny. I was plannin on doing the same thing.

Nice looking setup BTW. The silver looks nice.

very nice. did you just silicone the overflow in? It looks great. i'd definitely concider doing that in a future tank :)

The overflow is 6 X 2.5 X 9 5/8 high and holds almost 1/2 gallon. There's still room for a heater in there so I can keep everything out of the tank :D .

Just siliconed it in place and tested to make sure it was a watertight seal.

BTW, why does my pic look brown with PC's on  ?

i'd say it looks brown because it is not getting any direct light. To me it really doesnt look brown, it just looks darker. I really like the base & top.
