This weekend my JBJ nanocube 24 managed to turn itself into a combination aquarium/electric bbq smoker.
Fortunately, I was in the room when the smoke poured out of the vent in the hood, unfortunately it fried all the circuits (fans, lights, etc.). I guess it’s just another fine example of the basic incompatibility of water and electricity.
As the tank was under a year old, I placed a few calls to JBJ, who suggested I take the hood back to Pacific Reef. Within minutes I had a brand new hood, and ballast.
Who says there's no such thing as customer service?

(Who hopefully will not have to use the marshmallows she bought to toast over her old nanocube hood)
