I've been cutting my RBTA's into 2 each time and I'm up to 13 for my anemone tank, but I was wondering if anyone has cut them into 4 and if so, how did it go, did they all live?
Thanks!
I've never cut a nem but I did have a large 12" RBTA split into 4. I had the RBTA for 7 months and it never split on me. I ended up tearing down my tank and sold 98% of my corals and had to replace around 40% of my water. At the same time I gave my RBTA the remaining frozen food I had and when I woke up the next morning I had 4 clones throughout my tank.
There are safer ways to get them to split than cutting them, just feed heavy.
If you have 13 in a 55g I would think you'd be about chock full of nem by now!
