Cutting coral/frag rock?

Hello all,

Looking for the best way to cut a sunset monti that i acquired some time ago. it appears to be on a multi frag plug disc or some sort of rock, beats the hell out of me. Basically i just want to quarter the thing but the closest thing to a fancy water type bandsaw is a jig saw if i can find a small enough blade?

A dremel with a diamond wheel would be better than a jig saw. The wheel can cut about 3/4” thick rock/ ceramic, and do minimal damage to the corals flesh

You can borrow a Dremmel or buy one and a diamond blade wheel. There are also cheaper Dremmel knockoff tools for about $30. I think Black and Decker makes a less expensive Dremmel knockoff.

If you don't mind taking a ride to my house I can cut it for you on my band saw.

Ah I forgot that I had a dremel, ill go that route. If I have any troubles, Ed, ill be coming your way!
