Cutting Frogspawn?

I have a frogspawn coral that is getting big and i need to cut it back how can you do this without taking it out of the aquarium?

well if your talking about branching fragspawn, you can either cut or break off the heads that are not wanted, make sure you dont cut or break to close to the polyp or you can risk killing it

Except your local hardware store doesn't sell them in stainless, and they will rust despite any precautions you take. If you're only going to use them once they will work fine, but if you want a tool for the aquarium you need stainless.

except that the rust really doesn't hurt anything. I have used a rusty pair of wire cutters for years.....

Although, I also have some stainless bone cutters.

I have stainless bone cutters too but breaking the branching type for me was easiest by hand.
