CuttleKid's Predatory Azoox Reef

I am happy to say that i have uprgraded from my 34 gallon Solana Cube to a beautiful 93 Gallon Marineland Cube! It is going to be a predatory azoox reef, featuring mainly lionfish as well as various Non photosynthetic corals. For corals, i am only going to keep nps lps and azoox gorgonians, and maybe some chili corals and a paraminabea(spelling?). I will not be attempting to keep any dendronephthyas/scleronephthyas again. I will be keeping crinoids. I want to try and replicate the reef scene with the lionfish and the crinoids living together. I plan on using my previous method of feeding which was using auto fish feeders filled with dry FM food. This worked well for me with solana with crinoids and gorgonians. It did not work with nps softies. I will continue to use this thread to update you guys on the progress of my tank.

I have to say that i am hooked on tube anemones!!! I feel an addiction coming on lol. I just ordered this beauty from cherry corals and it should be here next this coming week.

Here Is a video i took of my tube anemone during the night with only the moon lights on.




I should be receiving my Fauna Marin food from cherry corals in a few days time. The shipment got delayed due to the snow storms, but its no big deal. I purchased one auto feeder to start out with, but i wont put into use until i get any gorgonians. I am going to put a mixture of FM Ultra Clam, FM Ultra Seafan, and FM Ultra Min F, the same mixture i used on my previous set up that seemd to work great with gorgonians and crinoids. I also ordered some FM LPS Pellets to test them out. Anyone use them and have anything to say about them please chime in!

I am on the hunt for some interesting gorgonians and will continue to update my tanks progress here.

An Update: This morning my FM food and tube anemone were delivered! The tube nem is doing great so far and i just ordered this beauty from cherry corals and it should arrive in a few days!
