Hey everybody, I was wondering whether cuttlefish & octopuses could be kept together because I'm considering a cuttle & octo tank. I'm so eager to find out! Get me when you can! :bounce1:

Also the opposite thing can happen.Octopus eats cuttlefish.I have caught octopus many times during fishing and sometimes it had a cuttlefish bone between its tentacles.

I'm not disagreeing with you by saying this, but the cuttle bone was probably a part of the octopuses den it was holding on to when it was reeled out of the water. They like to horde objects.

The cuttlefish bone is what remains from a cuttlefish when being eaten by an octopus.I remember that in one instance the octopus had a half-eaten cuttlefish between its tentacles.Furthermore, people who catch many octopuses by snorkeling, say they find the octopuses den by the bones and remnants of fish and other sea creatures, which lie around it.
