CVRC website extended

Thanks once again to Bruce the site hosting has been paid in full for another 2 years. Let see if we can't raise enough to pay for the next hosting fee between now and then.

Hopefully I can get the site mods finished by Christmas

No problem guys, hope you enjoy it.

However, next time I doubt I will be renewing the site. Our site (duck's) is terrible so I was actually going to just let it go. The only reason I decided to keep it going another couple of years was for the club. Just saying this so it won't come as a suprise when the time comes to renew. No big rush, the club will have two years to collect the $135 it costs to host the site so it shouldn't be a problem.

Do you have usage statistics for the CVRC site? (visitors, bandwidth used, disk storage, etc) I can see if the company with whom I host my site and customers' sites has a good price ... can vouch for their reliability.

Nope, I never even look at the site information. I leave it to Ron. It will be something to look into in a couple of years though.

We have two years thanks to Bruce. In fact we have the site thanks to Bruce. After these rounds which were on him, the game is over unless we procure funds. You have two years to decide in this matter.


Site is being re-designed yet again, after the Holidays it will be updated.

To the four of you that said thanks, I really appreciate it.

I must say though considering how many members this club has I think it is sad that only four people are willing to express their appreciation when someone makes a donation such as this. I hate to think that I am a member of a club that can take such things for granted.

In the future please try to take a minute and thank members when they try to help out. You never know, it may get more people to start donating and help the club prosper.
