Cyanide Caught? - Large Clown Trigger

Hello everyone, my clown trigger has turned to an almost pitch black last couple days. He had several seizures last week where he would take off and dart across the tank extremely fast and went right into the wall. He continues this behavior. Is this a cyanide caught fish? Did very well at first with beautiful personality and colors. Even now he is still eating aggressively and all water parameters are in check.

This is the third week. He was doing great. His appetite is voracious. I think he may Be going blind.

Is he at full size? If he is, might be a pretty old fish.

I don't think he anywhere near full size, they can get to be a foot and a half plus

I don't know, but I have the same fear as you do when it comes to cyanide. Sometimes it still happens in Indonesia. Heard Philippines is much stricter these days. Hawaii, Australia, Maldives, Caribbean, maybe Fiji and the Central Pacific generally don't use cyanide. Banned entirely in Hawaii and Australia.

I thought that Cyanide usually took 21 days to appear. I am sorry if that is the case. If you lose yours I may be able to accommodate you, I have one and he is getting too big. How big is your tank?
