cyano again

i know this is a pretty common question, but since the search is down, i need info on how people here got rid of red cyanobacteria. Ive been struggling with is lately. I recently bought a new skimmer and im setting up a water change. I was thinking of doing a polyox treatment, ive done it before and it worked well enough, but in the long term this stuff keeps coming back. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks, keep reefing.

it does hate flow...I installed a spraybar on my fluval to spread the flow evenly across the back of my tank (i point it down toward the sand).
