Cyano, Aiptasia and no PE.

Please look at one of the Mods named sk8r, and check out the blogs under his name. He has many good ideas on how to eliminate cyano and other problem algae/bacteria issues. But a quick answer is NO. Lights out for 3 days should not cause any problems. HTH

Cyano will still be there after 3 days of no lights, sorry. They will just feed off the nutrients in the water. Fix your water quality and the Cyano will disappear.
