Hi guys
So I have had got some of this stuff on my rock and sand bed right now. Plan on using the 3 day no light method and some water changes to see if it helps.
I have a red face wrasse and blue head wrasse who I think bury themselves every pm at lights out.
Will having the lights out for 3 days straight confuse them and stop them from coming out to eat?
Also, by here is no source of sunlight where I have my tank... is basically in the basement... I have a lamp in the room, should I leave the lamp off for the 3 days as well or if it is dimmed will that still have the same effect in trying to get rid of the cyano... I'm thinking of keeping the lamp on for an hour or 2 to get the rest of my fish out from hiding at feeding time cause it pitch black in there with all the lights off.
Thanks...
