Hmm..... Interesting Jonathan. Now that I think about it, that tank is also fully covered, so maybe it just falls from the sky? Hey, there's a ton of bacteria everywhere so why not? My cyano-free tank is not only fully covered, but it's also under another tank.
Another thing I'd like to share. I used to get it worst in the highest flow spots. Then, I got a sleeper goby to keep the "tunnels" clear under the rocks. He/she (it?) eats it off the sand bed, rocks, and glass. Since I got the goby, the cyano is almost entirely gone. Maybe that's a natural food for them? Anyone else ever see that?
