Cycle is stalling

So i had to cycle a 10 gallo qt and i used fishless ammonia method using pure ammonia. I dosed about 2ppm worth of ammonia on sunday. Tested today and still ammonia is the same and nitrite still 0. My last cycle for my 100gallon at 3 days i say nitrited but then again i used atm colony. This cycle im usinf seachem seed. Could this be stalling my cycle? I thought seed helps to establish a bio filter and says to use from day one.

Has my cycle stalled or should i expect it to take this long to see ammonia drop?

Im using air stone, hob filter. My temps around 82.

your cycle isn't stalling you are just starting from scratch doing it the slow way. its been less than a week be patient. They can take a month sometimes.

Fastest way to cycle a tank is to use 100% cured liverock.

+1, or add Dr. Tim's in a bottle or one of the other bacteria in a bottle products on the market. I would suspect it will take at least 4 weeks as things stand now.

I'm on day 5 using Dr Tim's and its still no Nitrite and Nitrate. Ammonia at 3-4

my Freshwater took 7 days to completely cycle using Dr Tim.

My cycle with dry rock and Dr. Tim's took 6 weeks. Easily 2-3 weeks before any nitrite showed up and then another 2-3 weeks for the nitrite to disappear.

I'm going on three weeks with my QT. I used Dr. Tims and pure ammonia. It took two weeks for ammonia to drop to zero but nitrites are still very high.

You can also start adding a little fish food each day to help get the ammonia going. My tank took about 5 weeks till it was ready. I know your excited about getting fish in there but the wait will be worth it.

I bought some wet live rock and put it into a second QT tank. Since day one it's been 0-ammonia, 0-nitrites and 5-nitrates. Not really sure if it's cycled or not just been monitoring it to see what happens.

It sounds like you have another tank that is already cycled. Why don't you hang your hob filter on that tank? Material will be ready much quicker.
