Cycling questions

Hey guys I'm currently cycling my 75 gallon tank with 100lbs of dry rock and a 40 gallon breeder sump. I currently am using one piece of raw shrimp that's decaying and releasing ammonia and over the past 7 days I've been dosing Seed bacteria by aquavitro and my ammonia hasn't gone over 0.25ppm and I still have no nitrites or nitrates. I'm wondering why that is basically. Also my dry rock will be the only Bio media I have

Not really a question for the Advanced section that's for sure. But if you are using all dry rock, then cycles will take a while to get going that's all.

because you are dosing a product whos sole purpose is to quickly cycle a tank..
And have enough water that the breakdown of the shrimp is basically masked by the use of that product..
