i just picked some up from big al's and was wondering how much and how often for a 125g mostly lps reef?

I'm assuming you bought the dry version. I believe in light feeding, so I would say 1-2 per week.

I feed about a tablespoon worth into my tank at night every other night. I turn off the circulation pumps and skimmer and just let it blow around in the tank until most of it is gone. I really just feed it for SPS and gorgonian.
