Cynarina coral

Got the chance to pick up this coral next week but can't find much info about it. I'm assuming it's like lobo and tracy corals, as in on the sandbed, lower flow. Does anyone have any other advice or opinions on this coral please? Pic attached is the exact one I'm going to get.

I have a red version of this (Red Button coral) and it loves it's spot on the sand bed, lower flow as you say. I have an RSR 250 with a Gyre mounted on the left and it sits underneath it at the front getting the last of the bounce-back. Fully open it's about 8" across.

My only issue is that it can get moved around as it isn't stuck down, and it's large size gives it a bit of a sail effect. It's easy to reposition if needed.

You can see it front left in the photo below. In this shot it had been blown out a little, usually I have it a few inches further back tucked into the rock.

Thanks for the reply. Thinking of moving rock in bottom left that's full of palys somewhere else. Then put it there in the corner, give it space. Hopefully will do well there.

Cynarina coral

Sounds like a good plan. In case it helps the PAR where mine is located is about 60 on the sand, probably rising to 80 or so at the top of the Cynarina's reach. So they don't need a lot of light.

They do get quite large.
