These things are as rare as hens teeth over here in England, this was taken about an hour after the halide went out, so its half open/half closed.

Beautiful! Looks fairly healthy.. once its a litlte acclimated to the tank you'll see its feeders come out at night- it'll gobble up lots of shrimps if you let it :)

I love them i have a HUGE red one thats going on about 6" fully opened.. going to move it to my 125 once i get it setup

Looking pretty good there! Make sure you have plenty of space for it to grow.

Mine is about 8" around now

Thanks Migsy. It actually gets mad at me if I don't feed it when I go to feed my suncorals. If it pulls its tents out and isn't given any food, it shrivels up into this tiny little ball and just looks angry.

I usually give it a healthy dose of mysis when I go to feed my suncoral. I'm going to have to move it soon here as it's starting to cramp intself into that ledge its on. I didn't think it would get that large ahha :)

Christie, I really like yours. It's a lot more bulbous than mine is. How does your's seem to like it on the sand? Was thinking of moving mine down.

It's a wonder, how much different shapes are, here is mine:

Same reaction on feeding other corals, have to share.
Mine also shriveled at the flow, rapid changes in salinity and alkalinity, traces of ammonia or toxins - hardy, but sensitive.
