Looks great, D.Blaine! Ever think about scraping the back glass? Really makes everything pop when you have a clean canvas. Looks really nice though. :)

I think I will scrape the back glass now thatyou mention it Thanks:)

The coraline actually looked decent on the back glass I thought untill I moved the tank awhile back when we moved to the new house therefore most of it turned white and died.

Now that I think about it I guess I shouldnt say that the tank is about six months old since we moved 2 months ago and the tank was completly tore down and set back up. The move process was done late one night and took about 4 hours, we moved out of our apartment to a house nearby.

There was only one loss in the move my lawnmower blenny that I had for over a year:(

Appreciate the comments thanks for looking:)

What? scrape the back glass? Sacrilege!
I am actively letting the coraline build and build on the back. After a beautiful display tank in my local shop.

Once you get serious layers of encrusting coraline, its looks deadly.
Yes it takes time, but I find that purple up helps a lot.

I would certainly scrape off the dead coraline, but let the new coraline encrust my friends.

regards
Conor.

Scraped looks much better.

Anyways, IME coraline grows in ugly faded colors under high intensity lighting. It looks like that tank has high intensity lighting. My coraline is only purple in the shade, otherwise I really dont have much on the brightly lit rocks or the stuff growing on the back is not nery pretty..

be carefull with thaT powder brown tang especially in a 75g.. hell get stressed quick and pbt get ich very easilyy .. nice tank though!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone Easye You are definatley right about the Tang he recently died on me when he came down with ICH I believe it was due to my poor QT habbits:(

I now have a Tank set up ready too quaranteen all remaining fish I only wish I hadnt been so ignorant early on. No more fish will go into the tank without properly quaranteen first.:)

I would like to get another Tang soon so it can sit in QT and get in the main tank as soon as possible. I would really appreciate some suggestions on Tangs that are suitable for a 75g ( is a Regal Tang or a Powder blue tang a bad choice?)

I am really digging the clean glass thanks Drummereef:thumbsup: Shouldhave done that a long time ago.

So far the frags are doing great although the tissue on one of the frags started to receed on the second day so I quickly fraged it and now it seems to be doing fine. I hope it makes it because it is my favorite one.

those overflow boxes suck when it comes to coraline algae. my aquapod backwall is the same stuff, cant really razor blade it doesnt work to well

Very nice looking tank. It looks better with the background scraped. How old is that clam?

i would do like a scopas tang.. there sweet and stay small.. i wouldnt get a powder blue whatsoever..very hard to take care of and just like the brown it gets ich easily.. u could pull off a small 1-2inch blue hippo and in a year or two ud have to take it out due to size. u could do a yellow eye kole tang..there one of my favs
