Here we go. I decided to move from 3 and 4 tanks into a single tank system. Having a single tank is going to be so much easier to maintain.

The old tank was a 90 gallon custom acrylic setup. The New tank is a 84x30x26 Leemar eurobraced starfire tank with black back.

AEFW was the straw that broke the camel's back and gave me an excuse to start the new build. AEFW discovered July 1st 2008.

Old setup (installed in 97) with ghetto QT system on the right. 2 rk2 bins are behind the photographer.

(aforementioned bins)Still can't believe my wife let me keep all this stuff in the livingroom.

Kinda goofed on my flow calculations. Too much flow in the fuge area? No problemo.

My bad, looks like you're working your way up to that...

Lol, as of today I'm still working on getting everything off the sandbed. Sooooooo, it's on it's way to being presentable for a FTS.

Well, I tried to get a FTS this morning and it's too full of reflections. I'll have to try again tonite.

Because I opted to use 1/2" glass, I've got 2 center braces on this tank and they're causing some shadow issues. Now that I've got the lighting setup semi permanently, I spent a good part of yesterday moving stuff around in the tank.

Alot of my stock is still recovering from the abuse of the bins (alk, temp and ca swings) and being moved to the new setup. Here are some pics of the stuff that is looking ok at the moment.

I understand about the glare, I can only take FTS after the sun goes down. Things look like they are coming along quite nicely.

Yeah, the tank faces a bay window that drives me crazy. I keep telling my wife that a 150" drop down projector screen would work real nice to block the glare but she's not buying it.

Not to great but here are some pics. Only the VHOs are on in this series.
