should I tie the out let of one reactor to the input of the other or have 2 separate returns back to the fuge? which on eshould come first, gfo or carbon?

I would assume it is ok due to the fact people put one mdia right below the other in canister filters all of the time. My on ly concern would be the amount of flow it takes to push water through two reactors would be higher than one....this could lead to some channeling of the water. Maybe not though, I think your going to have to give it a try and find out.

The BRS dual reactor runs off of one pump, so you can do it just fine.

I have 2 phosban reactors on my 33 cube, the first one is for carbon, and the second for phosban. I daisy chained them together, and using the flow rate that is best for the phosban, which is on the lower side for carbon. But, IMO, that is better then having ideal flow for carbon which would be too fast for the phosban.

I know that this isn't ideal but works well for me, and I only have to use one pump. I but the carbon first because I change that more often and with the way mine is set up it is easier to get to that one.

Actually from what BRS says running water slower through carbon is more effective and gives me surface time for the carbon to pull stuff out. BRS recommends a MJ 1200 for their dual reactor. I have a single and run both carbon and GFO in it and works great!

I run a pair of Two little fishes reactors. One for carbon one for GFO. I use one MJ1200 to power both. I tee the output of the MJ
so each reactor has its own feed. This way you can adjust the output of each reactor seperately.

thanks I teed off a cheap pump. I need to get a mj1200 i guess. the lfs sold me this one before I bought the second reactor

Common practice. I use eheim pumps.
