damaged foot

I just noticed that the anemone I just got has a tear in its foot.
will it be able to heal itself or is it doomed to die. Really bummed out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could go either way. Best thing you acn do is keep your tank a pristine as possible and hands off. It has a good chance if it was healthy to begin with. I had a bta with same problem, it recovered. If you have hosting clowns protect it if they seem to be annoying it. Other than that, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
