damsel preventing host

Hey guys, I have had a pair of true perc for over 2 years now and am curious if a blue damsel would prevent the 2 from hosting my anemones I have had. I have had 3 types of anemones all of which are liked by true percs and everytime they would try and go near it, the damsel would rush over and hit them away. any suggestions?

If anything that would be causing stress and make the perc want to host even more for protection. Its just one of those things, eventually the clown will likely host in the nem it just takes time.

Patience is key, Damsels can be such a PITA sometimes, maybe take him out for a while if you have a qt tank or sump

I had a yellowtail damsel in an old 120.. My roomate was just dying to buy a fish so I let him put it in..

I swear that damsel kicked my clownfish out of their nem because they just stopped hosting.. The damsel was extremely aggressive constanly hovering above the BTA.

after weeks of fishing in my own tank with a fly hook and 2 tippet I finally caught the little bastard.. I almost ate him but instead did the humane thing and took him to the LFS.

I will never let a damsel near any fish tank again..
