Damsels and chromis

It it alright to have both in the same tank?

they are the same fishes. just different color. though the chromis will school as the other damnsels are loners. suggest, if your tank is above 55 gallons to get at least 5 chromis. you will enjoy them schooling, they are pretty cool. as far as other damnsels, they will more than likely become a pain in the tank as they mature. (very tritorial) REEF-ON!!!

ahh thank you, i have some blue damsel rite now and was interested in buying some chromis to school, but i didnt know if there would be a problem with the two.

the blue will be very tritorial. and will establish a parameter in the tank if it has not already. then the fighting begins. REEF-ON!!!

i agree---i stupidly put my blue damsel in my 75 reef when i broke down my other tank and he killed several fish---there were no aggressive fish in there and then he came along. i suggest trading him for something else......possibly some chromis......they reccomend odd numbers.
