Damsels VS MCF

I have a 75 gallon with about 60 lbs of LR with plenty of hiding places and crevices, but I also have 4 damsels (two blue, one yellow, and one domino) All about the size of 2 inches or a lil bigger. I'm interested in getting a maroon clown. Can anybody tell me some tips, pointers, if they'll be compatible, or anything on owning a maroon clown?

I've had problems w/ all of those damsels being aggressive.
The only damsels I've had good luck w/ are green chromis.
Maroons are on the aggressive side as well, it may do OK with those.

I have the three stripe damsels 2 of them and when I got my MCF they wouldn't stop picking at it. HE/She is now living in the overflow of my 120 AGA. It must have jumped/swam in there. I'm going to get it out when it gets some more size or when I get a BTA for it to host in. It's been in there for a month now or more and seems to like it. I did remove him one night and the next day after work it was right back in there.

LOL, I guess so. Doesn't seem stressed and eats like a pig.
When it's a little bigger in the tank it'll go. If I thought it wasn't doing good I would just return it.

how do i get these damsels out then, everytime i try to catch them they hide in the rock work.. Any tricks?without having to take out my LR???

go fishing!!! litterally.... get a small hook WITHOUT the barb on it. bait it with their favorite food and catchem!!!

Here is my 24g Aquapod Cube, which has a Strawberry Pseudochromis, a Domino Damsel, a Blue Velvet Damsel, a 4 Stripe Damsel, a Maroon Clown, a Bicolor Blenny and an Eel.

They are all doing very well, I love the Maroon Clowns.

You may need to rearrange things a bit to confuse them on there territories just before you put the clown in the tank.

I purchased someone elses tank which came with a cool Purple Tang....& 3 Damsels....The 3 are holy terrors especially the Yellow one & the Blue Devil....(the b/w 4 stripe is the least agressive)....I started purchasing additional fish & every time one of the 3 would chase & terrorize....I got sick of my new additions hiding from the Dam%&#@ so I bought a "Fish Corral" from Drs Foster Smith....One of the best purchases I have gotten....You can't chase fish around a tank with LR....You never catch them & it just stresses everyone else out....You just place it in the tank with the door open, squirt their favorite food in with a turkey baster & wait ......Once 1 fish gets the prize they all want in....The biggest problem is trying to catch one without other fish being in there too....One time just the Tang & the Yellow $%#& were in there at the same time so I closed the door....The Tang FREAKED!!!....I had to open the door & of course the damsel came out first....It took 2 days but I got the 2 worst offenders....The b/w better be god or he's next....He really tries to chase my Percula Clown, but the clown just seems to ignore his ambushes & keeps swimming goofy....Hope this helps....Oh yeah>>>>It also works to acclimate newbees to the tank (after temp, salinity & Ph have been done)...They are in a safe place where you can see if there are any agressors & he can check out the tank in safety....Sue

U alreay have the damsels in ur tank for some time. they have marked their terrotories till now. i don't think they would allow any small fish to adjust in the tank.
I tore up my 180 gallon 2 days back just to take out my two killer domino damsels. they killed 6 of my new fishes despite of trying evrything to save them.
can't say about the marron clown wether it can take them or not.
