Dang. Just saw 2 captive bred coral beauties

They were the size of quarters. The yellow on them was stunning. Much more pronounced than captured.

If I didn't have a flame back already I'd be very tempted to get them.

i saw the same thing at an LFS here in Dallas a few weeks back. same size as well. curious as to what were those priced? the 2 i saw carried a $70.00 price per fish and just couldn't pull the trigger on one at that rate without making sure i wasnt getting the screws.

I have one, I thought I was just being biased but to me the colours are much more vivid than on many of the wc I have seen recently

re size mine was around 1" when I got her, that was six months ago and she is now over 2". I'm about to try adding a captive bred flame to the tank also

These are the Biota ones I assume. Been seeing them pop up on LA/DD lately. They look nice but a bit off to me and it may just be they are so young.

yeah mine is Biota, I think they are the only ones breeding them commercially at the moment

mine is in with a load of softies, xenia, clove, leathers, gorgs etc all I've seen in six months is the occasional nip at one of my large polyped nps gorgs. even then I suspect its eating the algae growing on it rather than the coral itself but still causes it to close for a short time
