DARK's 210g on Polyp Labs System Reef-resh and Reef Roids

Just thought I'd share a few pics of my system which has been on Polyp Labs System Reef-resh for 4 weeks. The tank was setup early January with contents from my old 90g. As you can see from the first photo that was submitted to Polyp Labs for their "Not So Perfect" contest, the tank is a complete mess. Algae growing all over the rocks and overflows, no coraline algae growing and most of the frags lacked nice colors.

It is very easy to dose System Reef-resh, I add RF-Genesis/RF-Fuel in the morning and RF-Acids/RF-Plus at lights out. I'm on the 4th week of dosing and have noticed a great improvement in the reduction of nuisance algae and the increase in coraline. The corals have coloured very nicely and have great polyp extension, they are having a positive reaction to the System Reef-resh. I plan on using Polyp Labs System Reef-resh over the lifespan of my tank because I feel it can only improve the colour and growth of my corals.

I guess I am missing the dramatic difference? are you sure it isn't attributed to maturity of the tank?

I know its hard to tell from the pics but if you could see the amount of growth/good colour Ive had over the past 4 weeks you wouldn't think that a tank can mature that quickly. I no longer clean the front glass daily and nitrATEs are constantly 0 down from 25 when I started the tank.

With 40 frags, your tank will definatly become even better than it already is!....

I bet, in a short period of time, these corals will begin to fill the tank

nice improvement are you dosing exactly like they say never missing or have you slacked alittle? just want to know if it has to be strictly followed or not.

I'm strictly following their directions. RF-Genesis, RF-Acids, RF-Plus are always 1 drop per 25g and RF-Fuel is for the 4th week, 1.4 ml per 50g. I dose Genesis/Fuel before lights on and Acids/Plus 25 minutes after lights out. Ive never missed a dose or added more then I should. My wife knows exactly when dosing occurs if I'm not available she will continue the process for me.

Yup shes a good woman, even buys her own SPS frags for the tank.

For your question if it has to be strictly followed or not, the instructions say

How strictly do I have to follow the dosing schedule?. What if I miss a day or two?

We have formulated each of the four components to operate together as an optimized system. If you miss a scheduled dose, just continue dosing the System as soon as your schedule allows.
