Dart Pump: A.O Smith vs Baldor

What is the difference in motors? I know the Blador are better but can't seem to find why. I am wanting to buy a dart for my system and wanted to see what the bad things were before buying. I don't care about being noisy, the pump will be in the garage and not going to be heard inside the house. I just want the massive flow.

There is little difference. The AO is smaller. I have one with an AO smith that has been running nonstop for about 5 years. Zero maintenance. I would prefer the baldor as they are heavier duty motors but the AO has lasted long enough for me. Its not loud at all.

I have the AO on my closed loop installed in the stand that's been working 24/7 with no probs at all... It's actually very quiet I can only hear a slight hum if I shut everything else off

Great pump, I'd buy again
