PS, once I changed the bulbs I started seeing better coral regrowth, but nothing like I had before.

FOrgot to mention, I also added about 1/2 tablespoon of GFO to a fine filter bag in the filter. I have had bad experiences in the past with over doing it and hurting my xenia so I am going slow this time.

On May 29th I got rid of the bio-pellets and added GFO to the reactor, since I am no longer running a skimmer.

June 2nd I upgraded the Penguin 200 to a Penguin 350.

Today I got my new canopy up and running... took apart the Nova Extreme light fixture and mounted everything in a canopy I cobbled together with my limited carpentry skills.

Still need to paint the outside of the canopy, but I think it looks pretty decent.

After a couple of days of having the lights 8 inches higher my corals are looking a lot better. I think this is gonna help tons!
