Dave's swap frags

OK, here's how this is going to work this year. $20 a frag for non-LE corals, $25 for LE corals, its just that simple. Multiple frags will get freebies of my choice, no brown corals I promise:) Frag sizes will vary depending on what I have to cut and demand but will be at least 3/4" with most larger. All will be pre-sale only, and I need to sell enough to warrant my attendence, so if sales are poor I may not be attending. Sorry to be late to the game but I just returned from skiing and wanted to make sure the tanks survived. PM to reserve a frag and I'll update people's desires here periodically.

snipersps' Acropora loisetteae. This piece is not in very wide distribution because Hugo did not distribute many frags before his tank crash of about a year ago. You can find a good write-up on these corals here: Acropora Loisetteae - Saltcity Reef Forums. Very similar to the ultimate stag exhibiting a turquoise body with green corallites under optimum conditions, pink prostrata in the background

pink prostrata with blue tips. This originated from Matt Anderson in Virginia and under intense lighting is, IMO, one of the more incredible corals out there. It looks identical to the Paletta Prostrata offered by fragfarmer and some say the willie mille. Not a great pic but the coral on the left:

pink lemonade (LE). My frag originated from Hugo (snipersps) so it is the real deal. I've attached a picture for people who've been hiding in a closet and also to give some idea of what a colony looks like (you usually just see frag pictures, this is only part of the colony)
redmille.jpg

Red hot chili pepper / Seasons greetings monti (LE), bad picture actually deeper green than shown limited availability
chilipepper-1.jpg

Montipora setosa Tyree LE, limited availability
setosa.jpg

Palmers blue millepora, straight from Mike's colony in Pleasanton, CA, no pic but guaranteed the real deal and beautiful! Even though it is LE I'll let it go for $20 a frag

Green tabling hyacinthus, bright green with yellowish growing tips, picture doesn't do the coral justice
greenhyacinthus.jpg

ORA green stylophora, sorry, no picture

Green pocillopora, intense neon green under high-K lighting and an easy grower. Old pic from my "point and shoot" days

More to come...

Oregon tort (LE), royal blue, limited as well
oregon_tort.jpg

My violet Acropora willisae, "fairy ring of mushroom" growth form (tabling like but grows in almost a "bowl" configuration. From the original Reefer Madness.

ORA/Cali blue tort

Acropora turaki/awi (I believe the latter), green with blue growing tips, fragile deepwater species does well under moderate lighting.

Sunset monti (LE)

Knock-off sunset monti, San Diego origin,

Acropora jacqueline, a green body with baby blue tip deepwater tabling acro with a "mossy" appearance,

Devil's armor paly (?, not good with paly/zoa names),
palys_2.jpg

Purple-hearted emeralds zoas,

Nuclear greens and purple deaths

ORA blue millepora

Jose Casas reverse sunset monti, smaller frag, very limited

Hollywood stunner, no LE pricing on this one.

snipersps red stag, people in SoCal say it is the same as the Red Robin stag but I have a hard time coloring it up in my tank. Sorry, no pic.

Atlantis Shades of Fall (LE), a bit shaded now so colors not as vibrant but it is the real McCoy.

ORA Pearlberry, very limited

None are presently mounted so get your order in early to allow time for recovery! Thanks for looking and I may post more in the coming days.

definitely a setosa, pink prostrata with blue tips and
Tyree LE montipora undata.
also want but will let you know about.....
Acropora turaki/awi
violet Acropora willisae

How big will the zoa/paly frags be? I'm interested in Devil's Armour, Purple Death and Nuclear Green. I'd rather pay a little more and get larger frags if available.

By any chance do you have any nice monti's? Your other SPS are absolutely stunning!!!

Got PD and Darth Mauls already. I'll have to get back on # of polyps on the ones listed once I do a little research:) Here's what I've already got for those interested in trading:
Rastas
Tubbs blues*
Devils armor*
PHE
PPE*
Black hole suns
Sunny D's
Darth Mauls
Mohawks
Candy apple reds*
Milky ways
several others, some un named or I can't remember the name. Asterisk means I might be able to frag if there's interest.

Fidel, thanks for the compliment. This represents about 7-8 years of collecting. I have a snipersps new mystic sunset (green/yellow base with two-tone blue/brown polyps), purple w/ purple polyps, and maybe a rainbow monti I could get to to frag. Several others as well but they might be hard to get frags of.

OG Rainbow Coral Red Stag, doesn't look this nice in my tank as it needs very high light, but has lineage, very limited availability:

Obviously not my pic but from my "source" LOL. $25 for this guy.

Dave

Dave,

I'll take the reverse sunset, OG rainbow coral red stag, the jaqilinawhatever, chilli pepper, shades of fall and red stag.

And an awi. :)

Two of these I've already gotten from you, but destructor (my alternate personality) demolished them in different and creative ways.

OK, no more rainbow red stag and I'll have to get back to you on the reverse sunset (someone asked already). Thanks.

Interested in:
pink prostrata with blue tips x 2
ORA Pearlberry
Purple-hearted emeralds zoas
pink lemonade (LE)
Red hot chili pepper
palmer's blue milli

Wow, overwhelming already! Thanks all! I should be able to fulfill all requests but won't know for sure until I frag later this w/e.

3-5 polyps on the palys/zoas I think is quite fair for $20. If anyone has real heartburn with that LMK.

Dave

Dave, what palys are you looking for? Is this for your wife's tank?

Man, I don't know. I really don't keep track and it is up to Barb since it'll go in her tank. I was going to ask you about those spidermans but saw that someone snatched them up already:)
