Good, yes, and yes Ryan. The jury is still out on the electric bill tho. I also seem to have lost a little stability. ALK actually dropped to 8 and calc rocked to over 520 (The test kit only goes to 520 by the way). Both PH and Mag are good. Go figure. Anyway I’m thinking maybe some actinics to get better color pop.

I know what you mean about actinics. I just added 2-4' 110w VHO's to mine. 1 actinic white and 1 super blue. I happened to have these laying around. The xm's out shine the 2 vho's when all are on but in the morning and evening when the halides arent on it looks great. 2 isnt enough tho. 4 would be better. Soon as I get time thats what im doing. Adding another 2 and I think it will be perfect.

Can you tell the actinics are on when the halides are on? Do they help pop the colors more? In Vince’s tank you can see a difference when he turns the actinics off.

Yes with the halides on, the 2 vho's do make the colors pop more. If your looking at the tank when I turn them on and off you can tell the difference. Its still not as blue as i want tho but i only have 1 super blue on it. the other being white doesnt help much.
It adds to the brightness when just the vho's are on but dont add to the colors. I am going to order 2 new super blues and see what that looks like then deside if I need to add 2 more.
