What you're going to find is most people say to wait as long as you can to add livestock. I've got an Aquapod 24 that I seeded w/ live sand, used LR from a long estalished tank and new RO/DI water that I mixed myself. My tank's been running for a couple months and I never went through a cycle. That or it was so fast that I missed it, and I tested my water every day for the first month.

That said, I waited about 2 weeks before putting anything in.

Even when i use cured rock, water, and sand from established tanks i usually wait a couple weeks before I add anything. I wait a few weeks. Add clean-up crew. Wait another 2 weeks. Do the first water change, test.. and if alls good I then add livestock. It doesnt hurt to wait... take yur time...

the biggest mistake you can make is rushing @ startup. no matter where your water/rock/sand comes from its a good idea to let your tank stabilize for a few weeks before you put livestock in the tank. I know it's hard - but resist the urge.
