Since I've upgraded the lighting on my tank I've had algea problems. I have a 24" deep 120 gal. tank it contains a few sps, lps, soft corals, fish and LR. I know my nitrates are about 30 ppm (working on lowering them) no detectable phosphate, no nitrite or ammonia. I keep my other parameters right where there supposed to be so I'm blaming my problems on the lighting. Also my tank turns its volume about 12 times an hour. I have an outer orbit light fixture mounted to the top of my tank, the bulbs are 2- 250 mh 10,000k and 4-54 watt t-5 actinics. If anyone could recomend the appropriate light cycle it would be very helpful.
