DC Pump

Looking for suggestions on a pump than can push water between 30-40 feet. Most of the distant is linear, there will be a handful of 90's but the height is only 2-3 feet. Like I said before most of the distance is a straight line.

Submersible DC pump preferred.

Also, would a 1" PVC pipe be sufficient for this distance?

I used a Jebao DC12000 (1st generation... the newer ones are even better). I had a manifold that pushed water into a 180g tank, a 75g tank, and out of the house to a 1hp chiller and back into the house and into the 180g tank. The skimmer route was roughly 30' and I had very good flow from the skimmer back into the tank.

I used 1" pvc and had 4 90 degree elbows plus the chiller in that 30' run. IMHO the diameter of the pipe has very little to do with the distance you are pushing the water. There is some friction effect, but it's negligible.

I think it will be plenty strong enough.
