This bonded pair came and went so fast today I didn't get a chance to consider purchasing it. did anyone see how much the pair sold for? Thanks
Does the fact they were a bonded pair indicate they were caught as a bonded pair? With this species would it be hard to create a bonded pair by throwing two relative juveniles together? Thx....
I find it hard to believe they are a bonded pair or at least in the wild they were. I'm not sure when they reach sexual maturity but I would believe the small female would be larger. Or that both fish would be larger.
Bonded doesn't nessicarily mean that they are a male/female pair. At DD it usually means the fish have been getting along with each other through their time at DD. These two should make a true pair as they grow as the size difference should mean that the smaller is female or will be female if not mature yet. The larger will become male if not already. The transition from male to female can be as quick as just a matter of a few days.
