Dd pair of bluelines

Bluelines seem to be popping up a few places, bluezoo, nyaquatic
I guess they must be in season.

The nice thing about them, besides their look, is they're just not very aggressive, unlike a lot of the other large angels.

This is definitely the season for Bluelines......Expect to see more offered in select LFS and online, not just at DFSLA. :fun4:

Best quote of the entire thread. Such a small bubble on here. To think I have survived in this hobby for years without Wisconsin............ and my fish still lived!

Man, you are such a clever pundit!!! Once again, youre right. Just because YOU didnt get your fish from them, were all sheep, and they have us brainwashed to spend our money with them.

Heaven forbid anyone ever praise a company for making a better product.

I am even a bit upset with myself for falling for your shenanigans. Goodbye- have a good life.

Thanks, I will.
BTW, I end up adding the PBT into the DT before the Flames arrived. The PBT was getting stressed in QT so I moved him. Next will be the Flames and later I might add an adult Emperor.

How are your flames doing? Still one male and 2 females? How does your PBT gets along with them?

Yes, I still have one male and two females. They were introduced at the same time with the PBT and juv Emperor on the same day back in 2007 so they never had any problem. However, as the Emperor started changing it got more aggressive with any new additions and the PBT gave hell to most new comers. I'd to remove both the Emp and PBT due to their aggressiveness as I was adding more and more deep water fishes. The FAs are currently with GF, Flagfin, BL, CB, Venustus, RS Regal, Meredithi, genicanthus and Lemonpeel without any problem.

So what di you do with your PBT and Emp? Do you still have them? In another tank?

My biggest problem right now is that my Purple Tang loves to chase my Yellow Tangs and one of the YT is chasing another one non-stop. I cannot catch them so I feel helpless. The PBT is so far a model citizen.
I ordered an Emperor so it'll arrive in the same shipment as the Flame Angels so I'm going to introduce them all at once. Better do it now before the PBT gets comfy and aggressive. They will be my last fish for a long while, hopefully things will work out.

Any advice on how to tone down the aggression between the Tangs?

No, I don't have them anymore. At the time I was only running 2 tanks and the other was much smaller and couldn't keep them. Now running 5 and will be consolidating to 2 very soon.

The lfs has a 700g L shape tank with about 10 tangs and about 2 of them are constantly chasing other tangs around so given with your tank sizeshape it's not much you can do. My only suggestion is getting your new additions to eat first before going into the DT.

That stinks that you had to get rid of them. I wish I had a bigger Qt and I can certainly get one but I'm at the end of adding fish to my DT. After these guys, no more fish till something happens.

I totally agree, I should put them somewhere where they can adjust from shipping and eating before hitting the DT but I also have a 4-5" Emperor coming in the same shipping as the FA and that could be a problem since I only have a refugium to put them in. The refugium is 125 gallons but only 75 gallons of it is suitable for fish (maybe less since I run a 6" DSB). That is not big enough for 4 FAs and an Emperor. Might have to just throw them in to the DT and cross my fingers....

I am waiting to see pics of the ones that have been purchased. Hopefully some of them went to RC posters. The smaller pair from last night were gorgeous specimens.

Is there some way that we can show that buying these for me is a charitable donation by contributing to the aquatic education of my son? Then its a tax write off! :D

Yes, I paid $250 earlier in the week, he just dropped the price on sale, I would have grabbed a pair, usually at that size $350+, and he waits until they are eating well to sell them, that is why he give the 14 day stay alive guarantee. Hey Michael, if you see this posting, do I get a $50 credit on my next purchase, because of the amazing sale price, you need to put that in your sale section, 6 huh, 3 beautiful pairs.
