DD Redspot Cardinal groups?

DD has had quite a few 5 fish groups of Red Spot Cardinalfish in the last month or so. Has anyone on here been buying them all and putting them into one big group? They have a reputation as high mortality fish and I am curious as to whether the DD ones are surviving.

They are. I picked up 3 groups of them and tossed them all together. They took to food extremely quick (not so much on the gel food that DD sends along, but on stuff like frozen cyclopeeze). Eventually sold off that group to a buddy of mine and the last time that I spoke to him, they were still nice and fat.

I ended up picking some up from a different source instead (local, so no shipping), but it took that group nearly a full month before they transitioned over to pellet diet.

I have a couple of groups of the red spot cardinals from DD (Divers Den). Great fish. Eat everything. Look like tetras, but I like the size of them in my nano

very cool to see a big group of them, but to me, they look fresh water.
