Dead 6055 Power Supply

Hi there,

So, the power supply on my 6055 seems to have died. I have another one on the way from an online retailer (no LFS have them) but will probably not arrive until monday or tuesday.

I have a spare power supply from something else, it's 24v 1.67 amp... would this be safe to use over the weekend? Will I fry the pump or controller?

That should work assuming it is tip positive with the same 2.5 by 5.5 mm tip.
