Dead Fromia?

I just purchased a fromia starfish. I acclimated it for nearly 2 hours. It looked fine in the fish store but after I acclimiated it, it seemed very stiff when I laid it on a rock in my 210 gal tank. It hasn't moved for nearly 15 minutes. Is it dead??

Turn it over and see if its mouth is has been excreated. If so it is dead.

I have heard of people dripping these for up to eight hours.

perhaps it was playing dead for a while. I woke up this morning and it had moved to the other sid of the rock. all is well . . .
