so ive had my GBTA for about one month..it stayed in one place for the first three weeks and then moved all of a sudden this past week.it was in the rockwork and would pop up when the light is on and retract once it goes off.i messed with the flow a little bit and again it retracted..i thought it was just unhappy and will come out or move somewhere the condition was right..to day i decided to pick up the rock it was attached to and it insides were just falling out of it into the water column..it looked pretty dead cuz i was able to detach its foot with ease..can someone tell me what went wrong..

tank is only 3 months old..is the tank not established long enough to house an anemone?that is my guess..

Death is part of the cycle of life. At least you are getting your feet wet... That is one of your hobbies, right? Now you know what not to do. Anenomes, like most reef animals need to be researched first. I guess you could do the trail be fire technique, but it will cost more money and you will kill more anenomies.
